Returning to Sydney, Australia in June 2024, the third Global Health Security Conference provides a forum where leaders, researchers, policy-makers and representatives from government, international organizations, civil society and private industry from around the world can engage with each other, review the latest research and policy innovations, and identify solutions to make the world safer and healthier. Experts will convene at the event to examine the progress made to date in strengthening health systems and identify the gaps and opportunities for enhancing the international community’s ability to respond more efficiently and effectively to future adverse health crises.

Wednesday, 19 June: Breakfast sponsored sessions (7:00-8:00)

The Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP) and SECURE will host a breakfast session entitled, 'Addressing the antibiotic access challenge: Market shaping interventions for AMR' in room C3.4, with MMV's Senior Director, Access & Product Management, Adam Aspinall taking part in an interactive round table discussion.

Thursday, 20 June: Breakfast sponsored sessions (7:00-8:00)

MMV will host a breakfast session entitled, 'Revamping the fight to eliminate malaria' in room C4.4.

Thursday, 20 June: Critical health security challenges (10:30-11:30)

MMV's Senior Director, Access & Product Management, Adam Aspinall, will make a presentation on 'Novel interventions to mitigate resistance to artemisinin-based combination therapies in uncomplicated malaria' in room C3.3.

Thursday, 20 June: Innovative medical countermeasures (10:30-11:30)

MMV's Director, Drug Discovery, Benoit Laleu, will make a presentation on 'Treatment innovation in pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Resilience (PPR)' in room C3.6.

Friday, 21 June: Regional initiatives for enhancing health security (14:30-15:30)

MMV's Senior Director, Access & Product Management, Adam Aspinall, will make a presentation on 'Scaling up quality manufacturing of pharmaceuticals in Africa to promote health security' in room C3.2.
