The Global Fund

  • To date approved approximately $177 million for malaria activities ($139 million disbursed)
  • Under the New Funding Model (NFM), the grant will be used for malaria commodities and distribution, iCCM, SBCC, SM&E strengthening, and programme management
    • Principal recipients: the MoH for commodities and management support; World Vision for programmatic activities

  • Technical support

UNICEF

  • Resource and programmatic management, malaria prevention and control (district level), procurement for community case management (CCM), and development of SBCC materials

Clinton Health Access Initiative 

  • Promote injectable artesunate as the first-line treatment for severe malaria, technical support on quantification

Save the Children, WHO and the Government of Canada

  • Implement the Rapid Access Expansion (RAcE) programme to support the scale-up of integrated community case management (iCCM) (8 districts) 
  • Scale-up of iCCM and community health activities in four additional districts
